This is an antique pair of Eastlake andirons with a classic Aesthetic style design that looks very similar to the Reading Hardware Company's "Windsor" pattern. There is a stamp on the back that appears to say Pat. Sept. 27, 1870. This pair is in very good condition, however one of the rear supports has been replaced with a handmade substitute rear support. These have an applied gold finish that has darkened to an antique brass tone.
