This is an antique wrought bronze door bell turn key with a 3/16" shaft made by Russell & Erwin and shown in their 1909 catalog. These turns are for use with a rotary mechanical door bell which would be mounted on the inside of a door, not included.
Very Good condition: showing no signs of heavy damage to structure or finish but may have small imperfections which are minor when considered against the overall size of the piece. There is a bend in the shank .
The dimensions of the item are: 2-7/8" diameter, 1-3/8" protrusion. Shank is 3/16" diameter 2" long, 2-1/2" total length.
