This is an antique aesthetic wrought bronze electric doorbell manufactured around 1890. Although the first doorbells were mechanical, activated by a lever, turn key, or by pulling a cord, modern doorbells are generally electric. The edge has a slight wrinkle in it, see photo for details.
Good condition: showing minor signs of wear to finish but no excessive damage to the structure. There is some slight paint residue and minor denting near one screw hole on the side as shown in the photo.
