This antique iron exterior lantern features caramel slag glas panels, roof vents on the peaked roof, and a latching door to allow easy access to change the light bulb. One glass panel has been replaced, please see photos below. This has been repainted. These fixtures are ideal for use in covered porches and foyers to add the perfect period detail to your restoration project. This fixture is rewired and is ready to install.
This light fixture is in good condition with no major flaws. The finish has been repainted and one glass panel replaced with similar but not exact caramel slag glass. It has been rewired using UL-listed sockets and wiring unless otherwise indicated. Maximum wattage if using incandescent light bulbs, please do not exceed 60 watts. If using LED or CFL bulbs you may use a higher wattage. We recommend having this light fixture installed by a licensed electrician to ensure your safety.
