This is a stunning double hung window set circa 1870 featuring a classic Aesthetic movement motif of an urn with flowering crabapple branches, a North American bluebird and a butterfly. The orange urn has a gold decorative stripe around the center with a bright red rosette and a deep blue ring of leaves around the neck and a yellow rim. This window is a celebration of color and is gorgeous. This window is hand-painted on a blue textured glass, the original painting is in very good overall condition with some wear from cleaning.
