This is an antique cast iron window sash lift made by Sargent & Co. and shown in their 1888 and later catalogs. The back of the finger lift has PATD Oct 31 1871 stamped on it. Sash finger lifts are installed on the bottom of a sash window which allows the user to lift the window up to open it safely.

Very Good condition: showing no signs of heavy damage to structure or finish but may have small imperfections which are minor when considered against the overall size of the piece
