This is an antique cast iron exterior light with a new satin glass shade. The beautiful reproduction shade has a smooth satin glass texture, an acorn shape, and a floral design embossed into the fluted sides. The light fixture was made circa 1920, this style was sold widely by mail order companies like Sears. There are egg and dart details around the perimeter. The body of the light has a rough texture from years of exposure to the elements. We have cleaned, repainted, and rewired the fixture using UL-listed parts, and it is now ready for you to install.
This light fixture is in good condition with no noticeable flaws or damage. It has been rewired using UL-listed sockets and wiring unless otherwise indicated. Maximum wattage if using incandescent light bulbs, please do not exceed 60 watts. If using LED or CFL bulbs you may use a higher wattage. We recommend having this light fixture installed by a licensed electrician to ensure your safety.
