Antique Cast Iron Door Bell Lever by Russell & Erwin - Circa 1882

This is an antique cast iron doorbell lever. made by Russell & Erwin and shown in their 1882 catalog. This would be mounted on the outside of a door and a mechanical bell (sold separately) would be mounted on the inside of the door. There is a lot of pitting and oxidation as shown in the photo.
Fair condition: showing moderate signs of wear or damage to the structure or finish but still in a fully usable condition. There is some pitting & oxidation.
The dimensions of the item are: backplate 3-1/8" x 4-1/2" 1-1/4" protrusion. Shaft on back is 2-5/8" long.
