This is a circa 1920 brass flush mount light fixture with a festoon of laurel leaves around the middle and remnants of the original lacquered finish, which is deteriorated. The beautiful inside hand-painted shade features butterflies flitting among a wisteria vine which wraps around the shade. The outside finish of the shade is sandblasted, for a very soft effect. Perfect for your cottage garden sun porch!

This light fixture is in good condition with minor wear to the finish on the chain and brass canopy. It has been rewired using UL-listed sockets and wiring unless otherwise indicated. Maximum wattage if using incandescent light bulbs, please do not exceed 60 watts. If using LED or CFL bulbs you may use a higher wattage. We recommend having this light fixture installed by a licensed electrician to ensure your safety.
