Antique Adlake Padlock with Chain - Circa 1936

This is an antique padlock made by Adlake with a patent date of 1936. The original patent document includes the following information:

"The invention relates to padlocks having a plurality of means for holding the shackle closed. For example, see patent to Hamm, No. 1,335,231 of March 30, 1920. The invention has for its principal object to insure that all of those means Operate when one of them operates."

This padlock has surface rust and does not include a key.
