great plates i have the switch and plug plates throughout my house, excellent quality, have never had an issue with anything.

Great plates, but screws are lacking Love these plates, we've been slowly replacing all of the cheap plastic plates in our vintage home with these. They're very heavy, thick plates with a beautiful finish. The only downside is that since they are thicker they sit out from the wall a tiny bit more and because of this the mounting screws provided are just short of actually reaching the screw holes in each outlet. I've had to prop all of my outlets further away from the wall as a result - 1) to get the plates to even hold to the wall; 2) to get the outlet faces flush with the outlet. Same goes for the switches. On lathe and plaster walls that's not always easy. You also can't just go out and replace the screws with longer ones from the hardware store because these screws have the custom aged-brass finish, which I have not been able to find locally. It's an inconvenience, but in the end I was able to make it work and they look excellent.
