Exactly what we wanted Trying to replace the hardware on our windows was difficult because no one - not even some restoration experts we had consulted - had ever seen the combination sash lock & lift we were looking for. These lifts not only replace the ones we have but upgrade the plain form existing lifts to something more consistent with the sash locks on our double-hung windows in the rest of the Victorian house. The only issue is that they did not come with matching mounting screws. I will need to find something that is appropriate somewhere else, which can be difficult for this iron finish.
