Exterior Mortise Lock Case, 2-1/2" Backset, Available in Many Finishes. Case Size: 5-1/2" high x 3-1/4" wide, Faceplate: 1-1/4" x 8". Accepts contemporary cylinder lock (sold separately). This lock is for use with knobs or levers on interior and exterior of door. • Deadbolt operated by key outside, thumbturn inside • When outside is locked, latch bolt and deadbolt are operated by key outside • When deadbolt is projected, outside thumb press/knob/lever is automatically locked • Latch bolt retracted by thumb press/knob/lever either side, except when outside thumb press/knob/lever is locked by stopbutton • Operating inside knob/lever retracts latch bolt and deadbolt simultaneously with outside thumb press/knob/lever remaining locked • Deadlocking latch bolt • Deadbolt has saw-proof inserts • Standard Mortise Door Prep ANSI A115.1Available in a wide variety of popular finishes, please view the Finishes Tab for details.
