2" Surface bolts for windows, French windows and doors. Solid brass. Available in 4 lengths (2", 4", 6", 8") and in 5 Finishes: PB, AB,PN, BN, OB. They come with 2 strikes: universal strike and mortise strike. They have one guide bracket (stay). These are faithful reproductions of authentic old style surface bolts. Matching screws are included.

Our 1896 Victorian house didn't have locks on any of the bathroom doors and I just couldn't bring myself to put a cheesy hook and eye lock on a door with gorgeous big trim and beautifully refurbished door knobs. This lock solved our problem and blends in with rest of the house. I wish it was a little more "aged" looking, for my purposes, but it definitely saved me about a million hours at antique stores looking for something legitimately old!
