Bakelite knobs came to prominence in the 1930's and are associated with Waterfall and Depression Era furniture. Made of zinc alloy with an antique brass finish and plastic in various swirled shades of brown. Matching drawer pulls are available.

Anonymous reviewerFeb 8, 2016, 00:00Beautiful! My husband refinished an art deco waterfall style armoire, salvaged from his mother's attic. It badly needed new knobs, and these were perfect. (We kept the original backplates.) We think these knobs beautifully add to the look of the armoire! Unfortunately, I was unable to upload the picture.

We needed a replacement that would not only fit the style but also the color. These worked perfectly in all respects. The pieces look beautiful and the handles honored the 30s Art Deco style. They are also good quality and well made.

Susan KatzJun 16, 2014, 00:00Wow factor We bought an Art Deco vanity table, that had ordinary round brown wooden knobs. We replaced those knobs with these Bakelite knobs. The look now catches our eyes and has upped the Wow factor of the piece in our bedroom.
