This is a classic 14" diameter drum lamp shade with an overlay applied that features a historic map of Monroe County, New York from the year 1852. The lamp base is sold separately. This is a beautiful map that features historic woodcuts of notable properties throughout Monroe County. There are enlarged views of both the top and the bottom of the map on each side of the shade, plus an image of the entire map. There is a detailed view of the village of Brockport too. This is a fascinating piece of history that any history or map buff from the Monroe County area will love.
