This is an antique wood and bronze door set probably made circa 1910. Many companies were making this style of wood knob in the first decade of the 20th century. This set has a beautiful original patina on the knobs and rosettes, the finish is worn on the keyhole escutcheons. The set consists of a pair of doorknobs on spindle, two door rosettes, two keyhole escutcheons, mortise lock with bronze faceplate, and strike plate.
Very Good condition: showing no signs of heavy damage to structure or finish but may have small imperfections which are minor when considered against the overall age of the piece. The mortise lock is missing the plunger buttons which activate the night latch function. The thumbturn is missing the turn and shaft. One set screw is newer.
