This is an antique glass and bronze doorknob on a closet spindle made by P. & F. Corbin and shown in their 1911 and later catalogs. The spindle has a bronze thumbturn on the other side, for use on closet doors. The original finish is in very good condition. The knob is on a 5/16" square spindle for use with a mortise lock (not included) and the set includes one doorknob on the spindle with closet thumbturn.
