This is an antique 5" x 5" bronze plated cast iron ball-bearing lift-off butt hinge with decorative steeple tips. This is a right hand hinge, meaning the stationary pintle is on the right hand leaf. The original bronze plating is in good condition. This hinge has a patent date of November 1871.
Very Good condition: showing no signs of heavy damage to structure or finish but may have small imperfections which are minor when considered against the overall size of the piece.
