This is a circa 1910 solid brass Arts & Crafts style ceiling fixture with a gorgeous green slag glass pyramid shade that features the original gold fabric fringe. This is a very rare fixture to find in complete original condition nowadays, we usually see these with cracked panels or missing fringe. This one is all original and in remarkably good condition, the fringe is wrinkled but should straighten out with time spent hanging. We did have to reapply it as part of it was coming off the frame. This fixture will accept two standard bulbs. The brass on this has been painted gold which we have left intact. These fixtures are ideal for use in dining rooms and foyers to add the perfect period detail to your restoration project. This fixture is rewired and is ready to install.
Dimensions of this fixture are: Height of entire fixture to the bottom of the fringe: 53" x 16" square shade
This light fixture is in good condition with no major flaws and the original finish is in excellent condition. It has been rewired using UL-listed sockets and wiring unless otherwise indicated. Maximum wattage if using incandescent light bulbs, please do not exceed 60 watts. If using LED or CFL bulbs you may use a higher wattage. We recommend having this light fixture installed by a licensed electrician to ensure your safety.
