This is a circa 1905 solid brass two-arm Arts and Crafts style ceiling fixture with beautiful caramel slag glass leaded panel shades. The brass fixture has tarnished to a warm golden tone. We have left this finish alone, we feel it adds great character to this fixture. This fixture has the original pull chain sockets (patent date 1904) which we have preserved. The central rod on this adjustable height fixture shows a clear mark where the canopy was positioned previously, it was in a very short position. These fixtures are ideal for use in dining rooms, hallways, parlors, and foyers to add the perfect period detail to your restoration project. This fixture is rewired and is ready to install.
Dimensions of this fixture are: 15" wide x 20" drop.
This light fixture is in good condition with no major flaws and the original finish is in excellent condition. It has been rewired using UL-listed sockets and wiring unless otherwise indicated. Maximum wattage if using incandescent light bulbs, please do not exceed 60 watts. If using LED or CFL bulbs you may use a higher wattage. We recommend having this light fixture installed by a licensed electrician to ensure your safety.
