This is a circa 1890 solid brass two-arm early electric Victorian style ceiling fixture with beautiful etched glass shades with a wide ruffled bottom edge and a classic Victorian pattern etched onto them. The brass fixture has a mossy original finish, which is resultant from the original lacquer coat wearing in places and oxidation turning the solid brass into a copper or dark brown tone in spots. We have left this finish alone, we feel it adds great character to this fixture. If you prefer a polished brass look we can polish and lacquer this for an additional $175. These fixtures are ideal for use in dining rooms, hallways, parlors, and foyers to add the perfect period detail to your restoration project. This fixture is rewired and is ready to install.
Dimensions of this fixture are: 33" drop x 22" wide.
This light fixture is in good condition with no major flaws and the original finish is in excellent condition. It has been rewired using UL-listed sockets and wiring unless otherwise indicated. Maximum wattage if using incandescent light bulbs, please do not exceed 60 watts. If using LED or CFL bulbs you may use a higher wattage. We recommend having this light fixture installed by a licensed electrician to ensure your safety.
