Product Image Gallery:

The Window Sash Bible by Steve Jordan is about the repair, maintenance, restoration and improvement of old or historic windows made from about 1800 to 1940. With so much misinformation provided by replacement window contractors and vendors, this book aids homeowners, do-it-yourselfers, carpenters, architects, designers, preservation commission members, and anyone in the old-house business make sound decisions about windows. Since most homeowners are unaware of their alternatives, The Window Sash Bible provides an array of options to save money, energy, and historic windows for decades to come.

Bathroom Door Pulls

For the French doors on our new bathroom, it was a challenge to find the right door knobs. We wanted a deep blue to match a Turkish ornament in the floor. These knobs were just the right color. As it turned out, using them as door pulls was the right idea, and we love them!

Polished Brass Leg Tub Enclosure Set

I absolutely love the way this looks in my new bathroom. I can't comment on how easy or hard the installation was, since I had it done professionally.

Hinges

We are renovating our house in Redondo Beach, a 100 year old beach bungalow that was stuccoed. We re-faced the exterior to shingles (previously clapboard) and we are keeping the plastered walls and putting your hinges on all of the interior doors. Thanks!

PERFECT

So glad to learn about these awesome little tools to help save my walls in my 100 year old house! My large framed art hangs solidly on my walls without dinging them up or leaving nasty holes. What's more, it beats pounding several holes in the walls, should I change my mind about where I want things hung. Thanks!

The best for antique hardware replacement!

Bought for antique wooden storms missing the hook part and are perfect for huge heavy, wooden storm windows. Hook part fits bottom part already attached for hanging. Could not be any more perfect!

Beautiful piece with historic flair

I absolutely love this addition to my home. I own a home built in 1905 and this was the perfect piece to give it that extra character it needed. People are fascinated every time they come over and end up ringing it over and over again!

Great find

Most catalogs & stores sell wood knobs of cherry, oak, maple, & sometimes pine. Solid, unfinished walnut is hard to find. Historic Houseparts sells these. They are well made, no defects, & come with screws. Company service is excellent, delivery prompt, exactly as advertised. Highly recommended.
