This is a small selection of the extensive door hardware collection we have at Historic Houseparts. We've been collecting and selling door hardware for over 35 years, so our inventory is expansive. If you are seeking a specific pattern of knob or plate please feel free to email us photos of your requested style and we can check our inventory to see if we have what you need.
For the French doors on our new bathroom, it was a challenge to
find the right door knobs. We wanted a deep blue to match a
Turkish ornament in the floor. These knobs were just the right
color. As it turned out, using them as door pulls was the right
idea, and we love them!
I thought I was taking a risk buying from outside the country. I was
wrong. The pulls are perfect, just what I was looking for. Makes my
kitchen look good.
Product, packageing, and shipping all done professionally. I would buy
again no problem.
Fantastic service, very easy to shop for antique and historic parts (sizes are viewable with the pictures!). Screws came with the door plate and made installation very easy. We are very glad these folks are in business. I will look for more historic parts for our 90+ year old house.
We are renovating our house in Redondo Beach, a 100 year old beach bungalow that was stuccoed. We re-faced the exterior to shingles (previously clapboard) and we are keeping the plastered walls and putting your hinges on all of the interior doors. Thanks!
We bought an Art Deco vanity table, that had ordinary round brown wooden knobs. We replaced those knobs with these Bakelite knobs. The look now catches our eyes and has upped the Wow factor of the piece in our bedroom.
So glad to learn about these awesome little tools to help save
my walls in my 100 year old house! My large framed art hangs
solidly on my walls without dinging them up or leaving nasty
holes. What's more, it beats pounding several holes in the walls,
should I change my mind about where I want things hung.
Most catalogs & stores sell wood knobs of cherry, oak, maple, & sometimes pine. Solid, unfinished walnut is hard to find. Historic Houseparts sells these. They are well made, no defects, & come with screws. Company service is excellent, delivery prompt, exactly as advertised. Highly recommended.
