This dresser was one step away from the dumpster. I found it at
a 2nd hand store for $10. After doing a little research, I found
this to be salvageable and I was happy to find your website.
Your service was fast and great. The pieces matched perfectly.
I absolutely love this addition to my home. I own a home built in
1905 and this was the perfect piece to give it that extra
character it needed. People are fascinated every time they come
over and end up ringing it over and over again!
It has been a challenge to find house numbers in an Arts and
Crafts Style that actually look like it was original to the time
period. These numbers hit the nail on the head. I get nervous
about buying things online and hope that they look good and
these house numbers did not disappoint. I love the finish on
them as well. I would purchase from Historic House Parts again!
We are renovating our house in Redondo Beach, a 100 year old beach bungalow that was stuccoed. We re-faced the exterior to shingles (previously clapboard) and we are keeping the plastered walls and putting your hinges on all of the interior doors. Thanks!
We had acquired 2 original 1930s dressers which had Bakelite handles that were hopelessly worn out beyond repair. We needed a replacement that would not only fit the style but also the color. These worked perfectly in all respects. The pieces look beautiful and the handles honored the 30s Art Deco style. They are also good quality and well made.
