Product Image Gallery:
This intricate and stunningly beautiful pair of bejeweled Aesthetic style leaded and stained glass casement windows depicts a bounty of floral blooms climbing towards the heavens in an eye-popping array of colors. Each bloom is in a different color of slag glass with a beautiful, colorful jewel in the center. Slag glass, also known as marble glass or malachite glass, is a type of opaque, streaked pressed glass. Production of slag glass originated in late-19th-century England, where glass manufacturers are thought to have added slag from iron-smelting works to molten glass to create a range of effects— from tortoiseshell to marbling. The windows have a background of pebbled amber glass and a border of slag glass in pink to deep ruby tones. We have done some light restoration work on these but have chosen to preserve the original glass pieces to maintain the integrity of the design in many places. Check the condition tab for full details. These are truly gems of windows.

Beautiful!

Purchased to replace old yellowing cardboard candelabra covers - thought I wanted/needed a new chandelier until these beautiful covers revived it! People even think I purchased a new fixture!! Would highly recommend - price and shipping could not be beat! Would definitely do business again!! Thanks!!

Great item!

Perfect piece for the icebox I refinished that came out of my childhood home! Made the icebox look like it did when it came out of the factory.

High Quality Authentic Appearing Cabinet Knob

Like so many of the repros at Historic Houseparts, this repro is VERY authentic appearing & high quality. Nothing available elsewhere at even close the price.

Wow factor

We bought an Art Deco vanity table, that had ordinary round brown wooden knobs. We replaced those knobs with these Bakelite knobs. The look now catches our eyes and has upped the Wow factor of the piece in our bedroom.

Hinges

We are renovating our house in Redondo Beach, a 100 year old beach bungalow that was stuccoed. We re-faced the exterior to shingles (previously clapboard) and we are keeping the plastered walls and putting your hinges on all of the interior doors. Thanks!

Beautiful piece with historic flair

I absolutely love this addition to my home. I own a home built in 1905 and this was the perfect piece to give it that extra character it needed. People are fascinated every time they come over and end up ringing it over and over again!

Perfect Match

This dresser was one step away from the dumpster. I found it at a 2nd hand store for $10. After doing a little research, I found this to be salvageable and I was happy to find your website. Your service was fast and great. The pieces matched perfectly.

Great find

Most catalogs & stores sell wood knobs of cherry, oak, maple, & sometimes pine. Solid, unfinished walnut is hard to find. Historic Houseparts sells these. They are well made, no defects, & come with screws. Company service is excellent, delivery prompt, exactly as advertised. Highly recommended.
