Antique push button cabinet door latch or catch by Keil. Each one is marked Paten Frances Keil & Son, Inc. New York. Nickel plated brass with steel parts. Designed to go through cabinet door and used as a push button latch. This particular style was common on Hoosier cabinets, but was used on all kinds of cupboards. Currently seven available in various conditions.
Item dimensions are: 3/4" knob diameter, 1" protrusion, 1-1/2" diameter base. 2-1/16" steel catch.
