A vintage circa 1955 NuTone door chime style number K-16. In 1936, J. Ralph Corbett developed a melodious door chime replacing the obnoxious door buzzer of the time. His development launched what is today known as NuTone. Only one available, the electrical component is untested the item is sold as is. There are two cracks in the plastic cover.
The dimensions of the item are: 7" w x 7" H, 3" projection.
Good condition: showing minor signs of wear to finish but no excessive damage to the structure. There is some wear to the brass plating, a missing cap on the faux chime and some slight paint and two cracks in the plastic cover,the red plunger that strikes one chime is missing.
