A vintage pair of Burwood or Syroco type curtain tiebacks in an antique gold tone. Each floral tieback has a brass post with a screw at the end for mounting. The Egyptians are believed to have invented curtains and used them throughout their entire rule. The very first curtains were made of animal hides and hung in doorways with hooks.
