An antique pocket door mortise lock made by the Chicago company. One of the pair has a keyhole and is embossed Chicago, the other is unmarked and does not have a keyhole. The mortise lock has an steel face plate with original bronze pull or handle and push button. There is a slight flashed copper finish that has mostly worn off as shown in the photo and no key. In the case of double pocket doors, one lock acts as the receiver and has no keyholes.
Items dimensions are: Keyhole mortise: Backset: 2-1/2", Case: 3-3/4" x 4-1/2" . Non-keyhole: Case: 3-1/4" x 4-1/2". Each faceplates: 1" x 6-1/2"
Good condition: showing minor signs of wear to finish but no excessive damage to the structure.
