Antique Pair of Solid Brass Louis XVI Fireplace Andirons

This is a pair of antique cast iron and brass andirons fashioned in the Louis XVI style circa 1900 as shown in the McIntyre & Taylor Ltd. (Toronto, Ont.) catalog of that year, very ornate. A photo of the catalog listing is included here. Design elements include paw feet, a fluted vine and olive branch, a center column with a finial on top reminiscent of a beast face. Please take a look at the pictures, these are very unusual pieces! These items are in good condition with minimal wear to finish.
