Lacy Pressed Sandwich Glass Curtain Knob or Tieback with Bronze Post - Clear
Historical Reproduction Sandwich Glass
The lacy pressed Sandwich Glass "curtain knob" was introduced by the Boston & Sandwich Glass Company of Cambridge, Massacusetts in the early nineteenth century, and used through around 1858. These beautiful reproductions of those originals are suitable for any vintage environment. The diameter of the glass is 4-1/4" and length of post is 4-3/8". Please pre-drill your screw holes before mounting to avoid the risk of breaking the Sandwich Glass.

They add just enough of a vintage touch to the powder room we just added to what was the original scullery of our Victorian. The size is perfect to hold back the midweight drapes I hung in the window. My husband expected them to look "too old lady-ish" but now that he's seen them for himself he thinks they're "pretty cool". I'll take it. My only gripe is that the hardware is copper, not dark bronze. Nothing a little paint won't take care of.
