This is another piece that we salvaged from a Finger Lakes area Queen Anne style house circa 1870 that unfortunately was destroyed by fire. This was once a massive interior door that was 36 inches wide and over 8 feet tall with plate glass from top to bottom. Unfortunately fire and water destroyed most of this door. We were able to salvage some of the glass and certain pieces of the frame to recreate a piece of this door's former glory. All but one of the glass pieces is part the original plate glass that was in the door before the fire. When we repaired this item we only used the salvageable parts of the door to repair the body; and now it is ready to make a home beautiful again. Will need a minor refinishing job on one side but nothing major. There are no breaks and overall condition is very good.
