ANTIQUE MORTISE LOCKS

We have HUNDREDS of vintage mortise locks. If you want a certain size, we can search our inventory for you.

To initiate a lock search, please print the following diagram found here, and fill it out with the exact dimensions, to the 16" of an inch, and fax it to us at 585-325-3613. We MUST HAVE THIS FORM FILLED OUT CORRECTLY AND COMPLETELY OR WE CAN NOT PROCEED WITH A SEARCH. We ask that all measurements be in fractions of an inch; no decimals, because we use plain old fashioned rulers! We ask that you be very specific with the measurements so we are not on wild goose chases trying to find locks that do not exist. It is a waste of both our time and your time. Here are definitions of the primary measurements we need:

BACKSET: Measurement from the center of doorknob hole to the edge of the lock faceplate or edge of door if lock is absent.

SPACING: Measurement from the center of round part of keyhole to the center of the doorknob hole.

If you are handy with Photoshop, open up the diagram in Photoshop and add the dimensions and email it back to us at  chris@historichouseparts.com 

PLEASE NOTE: We will not take dimensions over the phone. We are not able to perform a mortise lock search without the diagram filled out completely. There is a search fee added onto the price of the lock(s) if we are successful. We have many searches we are performing, please be patient. We try to fulfill the searches within 7 days of receiving them. To proceed, we must have our diagram filled out completely!
