Good Product- Poor Order Process
Good Product- Poor Order Process
Purchased these to reinforce my antique screen door at home. Looked high and low for something similar and this was the only item that fit the bill. Placed the order and was quoted almost $10 for shipping. Since I didn't have many options, I placed the order. When I received the invoice, I noticed the shipping was broken down into shipping costs and a "handling" charge. Contacted customer service and was told the "handling" charge was for packaging materials. On the box, I noticed actual shipping charge was almost 50% less than I was charged! It was a flat-rate box so the shipping didn't need to be calculated. On top of this, the box is free from USPS. Disappointing.

What People Are Saying

So happy with these beautiful knobs! We wanted our bathroom to have a special flair and these cabinet pulls completed the look perfectly. A little smaller than we expected, but still a perfect complement to the look we wanted.

We are renovating our house in Redondo Beach, a 100 year old beach bungalow that was stuccoed. We re-faced the exterior to shingles (previously clapboard) and we are keeping the plastered walls and putting your hinges on all of the interior doors. Thanks!
Perfect Match

This dresser was one step away from the dumpster. I found it at a 2nd hand store for $10. After doing a little research, I found this to be salvageable and I was happy to find your website. Your service was fast and great. The pieces matched perfectly.
Forest Green Glass Bridge Pull, Brass Base

PERFECT! I thought I was taking a risk buying from outside the country. I was wrong. The pulls are perfect, just what I was looking for. Makes my kitchen look good. Product, packageing, and shipping all done professionally. I would buy again no problem. Cheers, Jonn
Exactly what we needed

We had acquired 2 original 1930s dressers which had Bakelite handles that were hopelessly worn out beyond repair. We needed a replacement that would not only fit the style but also the color. These worked perfectly in all respects. The pieces look beautiful and the handles honored the 30s Art Deco style. They are also good quality and well made.
Great find

Most catalogs & stores sell wood knobs of cherry, oak, maple, & sometimes pine. Solid, unfinished walnut is hard to find. Historic Houseparts sells these. They are well made, no defects, & come with screws. Company service is excellent, delivery prompt, exactly as advertised. Highly recommended.
Glass Door Knob/Door Plate

Fantastic service, very easy to shop for antique and historic parts (sizes are viewable with the pictures!). Screws came with the door plate and made installation very easy. We are very glad these folks are in business. I will look for more historic parts for our 90+ year old house.
Worked like a charm!

We recently experienced a very large chip in our tub. It had started to rust and that made us very unhappy. Porcafix was very easy to use and the tub looks great!
