Antique child's or doll rocking chair with beautifully turned spindles. This chair is in fair condition some of the wicker is damaged, one leg needs repair and has a worn faux leather seat as seen in the photos. Though American inventor Benjamin Franklin is sometimes credited with inventing the rocking chair, historians actually trace the rocking chair's origins to North America during the early 18th century. Stands about 25 ¼” we are unsure of the wood.
