This is a circa 1905 solid brass four-arm Arts and Crafts style ceiling fixture with new inside sandblasted shades. The brass fixture has tarnished to a warm golden tone. We have left this finish alone, we feel it adds great character to this fixture. This fixture has the original pull sockets and unusual vented, spring-activated shade holders (patent date 1904) which we have preserved. These shade holders are unusual in that they do not need set screws to hold the shade in place. These fixtures are ideal for use in dining rooms, hallways, parlors, and foyers to add the perfect period detail to your restoration project. This fixture is rewired and is ready to install.
Dimensions of this fixture are: 23" wide x 28" drop.
This light fixture is in good condition with no major flaws and the original finish is in excellent condition. It has been rewired using UL-listed sockets and wiring unless otherwise indicated. Maximum wattage if using incandescent light bulbs, please do not exceed 60 watts. If using LED or CFL bulbs you may use a higher wattage. We recommend having this light fixture installed by a licensed electrician to ensure your safety.
