Capture the beauty of authentic, traditional cement tiles with the SomerTile Cemento Empress Ocean 8"x8" Cement Floor and Wall Tile. These tiles are constructed of cement, offering a partial through-body coloring. Each tile is hand-crafted by taking a 1” cement base, pouring color into a mold, pressing the color with a hydraulic press and baking at extremely high temperatures. The result is a completely one of a kind look that may produce natural variations or chips, which are characteristics of true cement tile. The monochromatic tile offers an old-world floral pattern in shades of slate blue and muted sky blue accented with white accents. These durable tiles can be used in a variety of interior settings. Be sure to pair these with other tiles in the coordinating Cemento series for a unique look. It is necessary that you seal your cement tiles.

What People Are Saying

We are renovating our house in Redondo Beach, a 100 year old beach bungalow that was stuccoed. We re-faced the exterior to shingles (previously clapboard) and we are keeping the plastered walls and putting your hinges on all of the interior doors. Thanks!
Great find

Most catalogs & stores sell wood knobs of cherry, oak, maple, & sometimes pine. Solid, unfinished walnut is hard to find. Historic Houseparts sells these. They are well made, no defects, & come with screws. Company service is excellent, delivery prompt, exactly as advertised. Highly recommended.
Glass Door Knob/Door Plate

Fantastic service, very easy to shop for antique and historic parts (sizes are viewable with the pictures!). Screws came with the door plate and made installation very easy. We are very glad these folks are in business. I will look for more historic parts for our 90+ year old house.
Wow factor

We bought an Art Deco vanity table, that had ordinary round brown wooden knobs. We replaced those knobs with these Bakelite knobs. The look now catches our eyes and has upped the Wow factor of the piece in our bedroom.
Kitchen faucet

I just finished installing the faucet and it's very nice. Beautifully machined. It works perfectly.
Forest Green Glass Bridge Pull, Brass Base

PERFECT! I thought I was taking a risk buying from outside the country. I was wrong. The pulls are perfect, just what I was looking for. Makes my kitchen look good. Product, packageing, and shipping all done professionally. I would buy again no problem. Cheers, Jonn
Great, affordable

I was having trouble sourcing lifts that were good quality, and matched with all of the other hardware in the kitchen. These fit the bill, and were less than half what I have seen elsewhere. They are solid, nicely weighted. Worth knowing that they are cast rather than stamped, so holes can be slightly different from one to another -- means that you have to be careful with measuring and leveling. But the upside is a truly historic and great-looking lift.
Exactly what we needed

We had acquired 2 original 1930s dressers which had Bakelite handles that were hopelessly worn out beyond repair. We needed a replacement that would not only fit the style but also the color. These worked perfectly in all respects. The pieces look beautiful and the handles honored the 30s Art Deco style. They are also good quality and well made.
