An antique Corbin sliding door mortise lock with a paten date of April 14 1885. This style sliding door lock was designed for garages, stables, warehouses, factories, etc. The latch and flush door pull are combined and operate from either side of the door, latch is released and door pulled open by same movement. The latch and flush cups are bronze and there is a slight flashed copper finish remaining on the faceplate. No strike plate.

Good condition: showing minor signs of wear to finish but no excessive damage to the structure.
