Antique pair of rounded ends cast iron sash pulley with a brass plated face that has mostly worn off as shown in the photo. The wheel diameter is 1/2". The opening for the wheel has an arch at the top and is squared at the bottom with a 1/2" diameter wheel. The weights and pulley counter balance system was one of the great achievements in window development, it was used in fine homes before the nineteenth century and in common homes after the civil war per Steve Jordan's The window sash bible: A guide to maintaining and restoring old wood Windows, see related items below.

Good condition: showing minor signs of wear to finish but no excessive damage to the structure. The brass plating has worn off as shown in the photo.
